Job summary

Condé Nast in New York is seeking a proactive Manager to join the US & Global Revenue Finance team. This role supports US and global operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and provides insights on revenue, costs, and profitability.

You will partner with Sales, FP&A, and Digital Operations, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive automation and data governance to improve daily reporting and strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of finance and/or business operations experience.
  • Experience in revenue reporting, forecasting, and close reconciliation.
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Tech-forward with a focus on leveraging AI to optimize financial workflows.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment and lead cross-functional work.
  • Proven ability to model and analyze data using Excel, including Power Query.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically partner with Revenue organization stakeholders to guide forecasting and long-range planning.
  • Serve as Project Lead for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Utilize AI and automation to improve team workflows.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and input templates; evaluate cost/benefit and ROI.
  • Assist in preparing executive presentations with clear insights for senior leadership.
  • Drive the annual rebuild of database systems to unify global daily reporting across GL, divisions, and data warehouses.
  • Own, troubleshoot, and optimize automation scripts (VBA, VBS, Google Apps Script).
  • Design templates to consolidate annual and seasonal budgets, including US Budget by Brand and Global Budget.
  • Collaborate with global markets to track and forecast the global events pipeline and provide financial insights.

Manager, US Based, US & Global Finance

The US & Global Revenue Finance department is responsible for providing company wide global revenue reporting for senior level business leaders and executives, macro level analysis of Conde Nast businesses, budgets and forecasts, and other financial information to be utilized in strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Sales Divisions, FP&A and Digital Operation teams, the team is responsible for managing all revenue, business operations and gross profit strategy across the organization.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Manager to join our Global Finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting our US and global business operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insights into revenue, costs, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration, and will be comfortable leading cyclical macro-level projects that influence business strategy and decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategically partner with Revenue organization stakeholders to provide guidance on strategy, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Serve as Project Lead for new cross-functional initiatives.
  • Utilize AI and automation to implement best practices across team workflows.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and input templates for new projects; provide cost/benefit and ROI evaluations to support business decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of executive-level presentations, ensuring clarity and strategic insights are communicated effectively to senior leadership.
  • Drive the annual rebuild of database systems to unify global daily reporting, ensuring data integrity across the General Ledger (GL), Division, and Enterprise Data Warehouses.
  • Own, troubleshoot, and optimize automation scripts (VBA, VBS, Google App Scripts) to streamline complex data pipelines.
  • Design and deploy templates to consolidate complex annual and seasonal budget submissions, including the US Budget by Brand and the Global Budget.
  • Partner with global markets to enable the effective tracking and forecasting of the global events pipeline. Provide key financial insights to drive decision-making.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of finance and/or business operations experience, preferably in media.
  • Proven experience in revenue reporting, forecasting, and close reconciliation.
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Tech-forward mindset with a focus on leveraging AI to optimize financial workflows.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to quickly collect, interpret, analyze and present financial data in an accurate and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills, solid presentation skills, and excellent analytical skills are essential.
  • Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Proven creative problem-solving and quantitative skills. A strategic thinker who is also proficient in modeling in-depth analyses from the ground up using Excel Power Query.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $100,000-110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
