Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience across strategic finance, FP&A, financial planning, business analytics or commercial finance.
• Excellent financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Experience presenting recommendations to executive-level stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise, and commercially meaningful insights.

A leading global law firm is seeking an exceptional strategic finance professional to work closely with its CEO and senior leadership team, turning complex financial and operational data into the insights, recommendations and decisions that will shape the firm’s future.

Sitting at the intersection of finance, strategy and executive leadership, you will support major growth initiatives, long-term planning and firm-wide strategic projects. You will have the visibility and influence to make a genuine impact across an internationally recognised professional-services organisation.

• Develop financial models, forecasts, scenario plans and sensitivity analyses to support critical business decisions
• Translate complex data into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations
• Prepare executive-level presentations, financial summaries and strategic business updates
• Partner directly with senior leadership on growth opportunities, risks and long-term planning
• Lead and support high-profile cross-functional initiatives across the firm
• Develop financial policies, reporting frameworks and business cases
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities across financial and operational performance

You will bring approximately 7+ years of progressive experience across strategic finance, FP&A, financial planning, business analytics or commercial finance.

• Experience using large datasets, financial reporting platforms and business-intelligence tools
• The confidence to operate in a visible, fast-moving and highly sophisticated environment

Experience within a leading law firm would be particularly valuable. Candidates from Big Four firms, consulting businesses and other complex professional-services organisations are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of Elite 3E, Power BI, Tableau or comparable platforms would be advantageous.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION

The position can be based in:

• Washington, DC: to $215,000
• Baltimore, MD: to $198,000

Final compensation will reflect the successful candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and overall fit.
