Job summary

Madison Regional Health System in Madison, SD, is seeking a full-time Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will report directly to the CFO and supervise all general accounting functions while partnering with senior management on financial analyses and budget accountability.

Responsibilities include month-end close, preparation and review of monthly financial statements, and support for annual budgeting, audits, and cost report processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master's in Accounting or Finance preferred; willingness to obtain advanced degree.
• Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in financial/accounting/revenue cycle progression.

Job description

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time Finance Manager to join their team.

The Finance Manager will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for the supervision of all general accounting functions; working closely with senior management, directors, and managers on a regular basis regarding financial analyses, revenue recognition, and budget accountability reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to all month-end processes including preparation and review of monthly financial statements, as well as assist with annual budgeting, audits and cost report processes.

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required, Master's in Accounting, Finance preferred. Willing to work with successful candidate in obtaining this advanced degree. Previous experience in healthcare accounting preferred. Minimum of 2 years financial/accounting/revenue cycle progression preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain, tactful, effective working relationships will all levels of MRHS staff. Must be able to demonstrate ability to think outside the box, problem solve, and embrace rapid change.

This position will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with potential evening hours. Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year.
