Job summary

CFS is seeking a Finance Manager to lead core finance operations and work closely with the CEO on strategic financial planning. Based on the South Shore campus in an onsite capacity, the role strengthens accounting, reporting, budgeting, and controls to support growth.

You will drive day-to-day finance performance, build the finance function, and develop a team to sustain long-term business needs while partnering with leadership.

Based on the South Shore, MA campus in an onsite capacity, this position helps shape how the organization scales through stronger accounting, reporting, budgeting, and controls.

You will drive day-to-day finance performance and also build the accounting and finance function from within as the company continues to grow. The role is focused on providing actionable financial insight, improving systems and efficiencies, and developing a team to support long-term business needs.

What you will do

• Own the company’s accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting functions
• Deliver financial analysis and insights that support growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making
• Assess performance across multiple locations and business operations
• Strengthen financial systems, controls, reporting, automation, and overall efficiency
• Build and develop an internal accounting team as the organization scales

What you bring

• Strong accounting and finance experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
• Mortgage lending, banking, financial services, or related industry experience strongly preferred
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across daily finance activities
• Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, analytics, and finance systems
• Proactive, technology-minded professional who performs well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Compensation and benefits

• Salary: USD 165,000 - 185,000 per year
