Job summary

Platinum Recruiting Group, a Midwest-based executive recruiting firm, seeks a Finance Manager to guide the accounting infrastructure across 20 operating entities across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio. You will partner with senior leadership to enable faster, better-informed decisions and drive acquisitions integration.

You will lead month-end close, implement ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct, and mentor a regional accounting team while ensuring robust controls and reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred.
• Progressive accounting leadership in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience leading month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Experience supporting acquisitions or multi-location organizations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close across 20 operating companies with a five-business-day close.
• Own accounting administration and optimization of ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct.
• Ensure accurate general ledger management, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain standardized job costing and revenue recognition practices.
• Manage pricing, labor costing, inventory accounting, and profitability reporting.
• Lead audit preparation, tax compliance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with external audit and tax advisors; oversee treasury activities and cash management.
• Lead accounting integration efforts for acquisitions; mentor regional accounting managers.

What You’ll Do

As Finance Manager, you’ll own the accounting infrastructure across 20 operating companies while ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent financial reporting.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead monthly financial close activities across all operating companies while maintaining an efficient five-business-day close process
• Own the accounting administration and optimization of ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct
• Ensure accurate general ledger management, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain standardized job costing and revenue recognition practices
• Manage pricing cost structures, labor costing, inventory accounting, and profitability reporting
• Lead audit preparation, tax compliance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting
• Partner with external audit and tax advisors
• Oversee treasury activities, cash management, and balance sheet integrity
• Lead accounting integration efforts for newly acquired businesses
• Develop and mentor regional accounting managers while building organizational capability
• Partner with General Managers and Regional Directors to provide trusted financial guidance and reporting support

What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking a collaborative accounting leader who combines strong technical expertise with business partnership skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• Progressive accounting leadership experience in a multi-entity environment
• Experience leading month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Demonstrated success improving financial processes and systems
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to operational leaders
• Experience supporting acquisitions or multi-location organizations is highly desirable

Experience with ServiceTitan, Sage Intacct, or similar ERP and operational platforms is a significant advantage.

This is a highly collaborative finance organization where accounting and FP&A operate as strategic partners rather than separate functions.

You’ll report directly to the Vice President of Finance while working closely with an experienced Regional FP&A leader, General Managers, Regional Directors, and corporate leadership. The organization values accountability, transparency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
