H Squared Talent Solutions is seeking a California-barred attorney for a fully remote role handling high-volume consumer finance / FCRA litigation. The position offers a docket-driven environment and the opportunity to own matters from discovery through resolution.

You will draft and respond to discovery, manage deadlines, negotiate settlements, and participate in strategy sessions with litigation leadership.

Qualifications

• Active CA Bar in good standing.
• 2 years of consumer finance/finance-adjacent litigation.
• Hands-on FCRA experience.
• Experience managing high-volume docket.
• Strong legal writing and deadline orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume docket of consumer finance / FCRA-driven matters.
• Draft and respond to written discovery; review productions and develop case themes.
• Draft complaints, motions, and filings with support from paralegal resources.
• Own calendaring and deadlines; keep cases moving.
• Participate in client meetings and litigation strategy sessions.
• Negotiate settlements and drive matters to resolution.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve templates and workflows.

Job Description

• Manage a high-volume docket of consumer finance / credit reporting matters (FCRA-driven)
• Draft and respond to written discovery; review productions and develop case themes
• Draft complaints, routine motions, and key filings with support from paralegal/admin resources
• Own calendaring and deadlines across your matters and keep cases moving efficiently
• Participate in client meetings and litigation strategy sessions
• Negotiate settlements and help drive matters to resolution
• Collaborate with litigation leadership to improve templates, workflows, and processes

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing of the California Bar
• 2 years of litigation experience in a consumer-facing or finance-adjacent practice
• Hands-on FCRA experience (Fair Credit Reporting Act)
• Experience managing a high-volume docket or high-throughput casework
• Strong legal writing skills and solid judgment
• Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning your matters
