  • Lecturer – Holds (or will hold) a Master’s degree or higher in Finance or related field and shows promise for excellence in assigned responsibilities.
  • Senior Lecturer – Demonstrated record of excellence in assigned responsibilities.
  • Distinguished Lecturer – Sustained record of excellence in assigned responsibilities.
  • Teaching Assistant Professor – Ph.D. (or will hold) in Finance or related field with promise for excellence in teaching.
  • Teaching Associate Professor – Terminal degree with demonstrated teaching excellence.
  • Teaching Professor (Full) – Terminal degree with sustained instructional leadership.
  • Assistant Professor of Practice – Ph.D. (or equivalent) and significant professional experience.
  • Associate Professor of Practice – Demonstrated excellence in assigned responsibilities.
  • Professor of Practice – Evidence of instructional leadership and excellence.
  • Notes on Evidence and Evaluation – promotion based on teaching, mentoring, program leadership and service.
  • Preferred Qualifications – demonstrated effectiveness in undergraduate teaching and commitment to student success.
  • Industry experience and/or relevant certifications desirable.
  • Ability to teach and develop programming in graduate and executive education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with students beyond the classroom to enhance skills and career readiness.
  • Collaborate within the Department, College, and University to support teaching needs across the finance curriculum.
