Job summary

CU Colorado Springs is seeking a Lecturer in Finance to join a revolving pool for the College of Business. Appointments are temporary, part-time, and reviewed semester-by-semester. Teaching may cover basic finance, corporate finance, investments, international finance, money and banking, ethics, personal financial planning, and risk in on-campus, online, or hybrid formats.

Positions are not tenured; visa sponsorship is not provided for non-U.S. candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of professional experience in these areas.
• Master's degree with a minimum of one year of professional industry experience in these areas is required.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Terminal degree (PhD/DBA/JD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students both in-person and online courses.
• Maintains, develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess student progress toward course learning objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
• Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
