Job summary

Merck & Co. invites high-potential seniors to join the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) within MCAAS, offering exposure to finance, accounting, analytics, risk, and project opportunities.

Participants work on monthly audit projects, collaborating with stakeholders worldwide, gaining knowledge on products, healthcare systems, and internal controls. After 24-36 months, graduates move into broader roles across Finance and the organization, building leadership and strategic capabilities

Qualifications

• Current seniors enrolled in a BS in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Analytics, expected to graduate prior to start date.
• Academic focus on data analytics is preferred.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Travel up to 30% of the time, domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Participate in executing financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, domestically and abroad.
• Support teams to complete assigned audit work under supervision.
• Execute audit programs and work papers per quality standards and timelines.
• Collaborate to write audit summaries describing issues, risks, and recommendations.
• Participate in departmental projects to realize specified results.
