Job summary

W3Global is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to lead financial operations for a Colorado-based real estate investment portfolio. The role will oversee multi-entity accounting, cash flow forecasting, and strategic financial planning, reporting to senior leadership on a fast-paced, on-site environment in Denver.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in real estate investment accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, LP structures, and 1031 exchanges.
• Strong, hands-on ability to lead core accounting functions from day one.
• Technology-oriented with track record of AI/automation improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting & financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Manage and improve internal controls, job costing, reconciliations, and close timelines (monthly within 15 days).
• Maintain weekly transaction visibility and rolling 13‑week cash flow forecast.
• Lead overseas bookkeeping team and build scalable financial processes.
• Analyze property and portfolio performance; advise on hold/sell/refinance strategies.
