Job summary

Taylor White in the Tampa Bay area seeks a Vice President of Finance to serve as the chief financial thought partner to the CEO, board, and private equity owners. This is a senior leadership role in a mature, high-functioning finance organization focused on strategy, M&A, and long-term value creation.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting, GAAP compliance, and capital strategy while guiding multi-entity finance operations and collaborating across functions to drive growth and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or tangible goods.
• Private equity-backed company experience strongly preferred.
• M&A experience including due diligence and post-acquisition integration preferred.
• Multi-entity or multi-location experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communicator capable of presenting to boards and lenders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial strategic partner to the CEO, board, and PE ownership.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Deliver high-quality financial reporting packages to leadership, lenders, and owners.
• Provide GAAP guidance and ensure internal controls and compliance.
• Oversee capital structure, treasury and cash flow management.
• Lead M&A activity, due diligence, deal structuring, and integration support.
• Assess and mitigate financial and operational risk across functions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel.
• Oversee tax planning and timely filings with external advisors.
