Job summary

Amazon's AWS Marketplace and Partner Services finance team seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the AWS Marketplace function. You will drive planning, analysis, decision support, and controllership across stakeholders, building financial models and growth strategies.

The role requires strong modeling, problem solving, attention to detail, and leadership. You will interact daily with Marketplace leaders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• 10+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience.
• 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
• 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience.
• 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience.
• MBA, or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical projects to increase controllership and drive policy decisions.
• Build knowledge of revenue systems and interactions across AWS tech stacks.
• Develop financial models, insights, and ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with BD and engineering to drive revenue growth; own variance analysis.
• Serve as CFO for Marketplace and Partner Engineering and lead a finance team.
• Develop and lead a high performing team of finance professionals.
