Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Finance Manager to support the AWS Marketplace. You will lead analytical projects, build financial models, and drive forecasting and budgeting in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional partners.

This role requires strong modeling, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to FP&A, accounting, and business intelligence. You’ll interact with Marketplace leaders daily to shape revenue and controllership strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
• 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
• Knowledge of general AI tools.

The finance team for AMPS (AWS Marketplace and Partner Services) is looking for people like you!

AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support the AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace is the most strategic channel for partners worldwide to acquire new customers and increase profitability in the cloud, and it is central to our Partner strategy. This position will work with key business partners to drive thoughtful planning, analysis, decision support, and controllership. This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem solving skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and solid skills in project management. This role has regular interaction with varied stakeholders across accounting, FinTech, AR, business development, business intelligence, FP&A and VP - level visibility. Requires both strong analytical ability and people skills.

Key job responsibilities

• Build deep working knowledge of our revenue systems and how they interact broadly across AWS tech stacks
• Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights, and lead ad hoc analyses.

• Own prep commentary for VP for AWS and Amazon wide WBR and BWBR
• Create, maintain and improve management reporting, with a focus on automation and utilization of AI. Includes collaboration with business intelligence and engineering.

A day in the life

This is a finance business partnering role so you will be interacting with Marketplace leaders on a daily basis. There's no typical day as you could be working with them on financial modeling for new proposed features or services, developing pricing scenarios, or driving our annual planning processes.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
• 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• Knowledge of general AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
