The Senior Accountant position at University of Iowa supports the financial, operational, and administrative functions of the Office of the Vice President for Research Core Research Facilities, including CM RF, HRMS, and MATFab. Hybrid within Iowa after in-person training and robust budgeting responsibilities.

Pay range is $60,000-$65,000 with potential for related benefits. Requires a bachelor’s in finance/accounting and 1–3 years in accounting or financial administration.

Qualifications

• Typically, 1-3 years of accounting or financial administration experience.
• Experience using financial management and reporting systems.
• Experience preparing transactions and journal entries.
• Experience reconciliations and analyzing financial data.
• Experience gathering data from multiple sources.
• Experience with billing processes and invoicing.
