Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Purchase-Based Contracting (PBC) Finance Lead to support discount and pricing contracts across products and channels, including providers, hospitals and GPO accounts. You will contribute to PBC strategies and ensure compliant contract implementation.

You will collaborate with Pricing, BTS, Legal, Market Access and Brand teams, build cross-functional relationships, and lead special projects while supporting SOX/audit requests with a high degree of self-motivation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business required.
MBA desirable.
6+ years of progressive experience, preferably in Contracts and Pricing.
Ability to guide across multiple workstreams and interact with senior management.
Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert for Oncology and other products across wholesaler and GPO contracts.
Represent PBC on initiatives to streamline processes and systems (Pramata, GIA, Model N).
Partner with manager and Brand/Market Access on strategic initiatives.
Work independently with cross-functional teams including Pricing, BTS, Legal, Market Access.
Lead cross-functional alignment and drive results with stakeholders and customers.
Lead special projects and support SOX and audit requests.
Deliver results with self-motivation and accountability.
