Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Market Access Pricing Lead/Supervisor to manage commercial contracting and rebate processes for its US portfolio. The role emphasizes financial analysis, compliance with pricing governance, and timely contract execution within a cross-functional environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting, 6+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Model N, Relay, and QlikView is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA a plus.
• Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.
• Planning and forecasting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of software application systems (Model N, Relay, QlikView) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis as well as support for the contracting and rebating process focusing on accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain compliance with pricing governance following procedures for offers throughout the process.
• Manage contracting requests including scheduling/leading checkpoint calls, completing follow-ups, preparation of offer decks, as well as the maintenance of term extensions, amendments, and restatements.
• Manage, analyze, and validate rebate payments ensuring compliance requirements as well as evaluate and dispute the plan's contract compliance/review performance against contractual objectives.
• Provide support for financial cycles and data reconciliations, as needed.
• Cross functional interaction with legal, third-party rebate processor, Government Pricing, Market Access Marketing and National/Regional Market Access Sales Management and Account Executives.
• Special projects as needed, including acquisition integration (as applicable) and system upgrade implementation.
• The ability to prioritize and meet necessary timeframes, build and manage relationships during times of conflicting opinions to drive positive outcomes.
• Ability to negotiate change, leading to goals being met, providing stakeholders with key updates and partnering with leadership in a matrix organization are key.
