Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) seeks a senior financial/program controller for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will lead development and analysis of EVM data, support EACs, and partner with stakeholders on financial forecasting and planning.

The role requires DoD experience, DoD clearance, and a strong background in FP&A, AOP, and LRP. US citizenship is mandatory for security clearance; incumbents must be able to obtain/maintain clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Degree in related field with 5+ years experience preferred.
• DoD experience required.
• Experience managing multiple DoD contracts with external deliverables (IPMDAR/IPMAR, CSDR, CFSR).

This position is being offered in an onsite capacity based on the needs of the business. This role will support a program that resides in Tucson, AZ time zone.

What You Will Do

• You will have broad responsibility for development cost-plus contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) program controls.
• Lead, coordinate, and mentor peers on the development and analysis of all program financial data, including contractual EVM requirements, development and presentation of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), and support of financial forecasting for the program.
• Serve as a critical business partner to internal and external stakeholders by providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to decision making.
• Support development and integration of financial planning aspects (LRP, AOP, working capital, monthly financial performance reporting).
• Provide financial analysis for growth opportunities as well as be a key contributor for the proposal / Gate 4 process.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires, A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Department of Defense experience.
• Experience managing multiple DoD contracts with external deliverables (IPMDAR/IPMAR, CSDR, CFSR).
• Experience and understanding of the Program Business role, including Earned Value Management (EVM), Estimates at Complete (EACs), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines.
• Experienced in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, management and peers.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Demonstrated experience in a matrix environment.
• Experience with financial systems and tools, including APEX, BW, Rplan, PMX, Excel, etc.
• Experience with financial forecasting, AOP, LRP, and R&O management
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and numerous stakeholders
• Excellent communication and professional skills when interfacing with all levels.
• Experience drive change and influence beyond authority level
• Active Secret DoD clearance
