Job summary

Monaco, an AI-native revenue platform, is hiring its first finance hire to own the function end to end in San Francisco. You'll build finance from the ground up, shaping operations, forecasting, and reporting as the company scales.

You'll work directly with leadership to establish budgeting, metrics, and investor-ready processes, with equity on offer and a path to leading the function long-term as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years across investment banking and/or strategic finance at a high-growth tech company
• Exceptional executor with hands-on modeling, close, and attention to detail
• Strong commercial instincts; comfortable partnering with founders on pricing, deals, unit economics
• Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast without sacrificing precision; low ego, high ownership

Responsibilities

• FP&A and runway: budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and board/investor reporting
• Pricing and billing: partner with GTM and product leadership on usage-based pricing, revenue metrics, and billing as we scale post-GAF
• Finance operations: banking, treasury, corporate cards, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and the monthly close (with our external accounting partners)
• Fundraising and strategic finance: modeling and diligence support for future rounds; building the data room and metrics infrastructure investors expect
