Job summary

Ava Labs is seeking a Finance Lead to own financial planning, forecasting, and regulatory alignment in the fast-paced crypto sector. This role partners with the CFO and cross-functional teams to drive clarity, efficiency, and strategic execution across the finance function.

The ideal candidate has extensive digital assets finance experience, strong modeling skills, and a hands-on, self-starting mindset. You will help scale financial systems and reports as Ava Labs grows globally.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Finance or Accounting; MBA from a top-tier school preferred.
• Extensive finance experience in digital assets/fintech; crypto management, international payments, trading platforms valued.
• Strong self-starter with hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and forecasting; build and maintain models for budgeting and scenarios.
• Drive finance projects from data gathering to implementation; resolve challenges independently.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations; ensure regulatory compliance and efficient payments.
• Partner with engineering, compliance, legal, HR to align financial processes with workforce planning.
• Track and report key financial metrics; analyze trends and risks with senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities for scalable finance.
• Assist with investor relations materials and board-level updates; collaborate with CFO.
• Support corporate development activities, including structuring potential investments or acquisitions.
