Job summary

Inmar Intelligence offers a Summer Finance internship based in Winston-Salem, NC, designed to develop skills through real-world financial analysis, data, and process improvement. • Support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis to help teams understand performance.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings.
• Develop or enhance financial models, dashboards, KPIs, reports, and presentations that turn data into insights.
• Support accounting and financial operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable, data validation, or other financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, or automate Finance and Accounting processes using technology and data.
• Gather requirements, document workflows, test solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research and ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with partners across Finance and other functions to connect financial insights with broader business objectives.
• Contribute to projects that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial processes.

Job description

The Financial Analysys Intern will work in one of Inmar's four networks (corporate, supply chain, healthcare, or promotions), under the mentorship and direction of Finance and Accounting leaders to carry out various duties. This internship is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills in a real world work environment. The position develops and performs in-depth review, analysis, and interpretation of all levels of the combined companies' financial activity to identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce expenses, and provide financial analyses as a management tool.

Our Finance Internship opportunities provide students with hands-on experience solving real business challenges through financial analysis, data, technology, and process improvement. Depending on the needs of the business, opportunities may be available across areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Finance Automation, Financial Operations, Accounts Receivable, and other corporate finance functions .

As a Finance intern, you may analyze financial and operational data, support planning and forecasting, improve financial processes, explore automation opportunities, or help teams turn complex information into insights that support better business decisions. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and cross-functional partners while building both your technical capabilities and your understanding of how Finance helps drive business performance.

Please note: These internship opportunities are expected to be based onsite at our Winston-Salem, NC location and will require in-person attendance during the summer. This posting is intended to build our candidate pipeline for anticipated Summer2027 Finance internship opportunities.
