Inmar's Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager.
Our Information Security Internship opportunities give students hands-on experience helping protect Inmar's technology, data, systems, and people from evolving security risks. Depending on business needs, opportunities may be available across areas such as Security Operations, Infrastructure & Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Threat Detection, Security Engineering, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and other cybersecurity functions.
As an Information Security intern, you may help identify and evaluate security risks, investigate potential threats, strengthen cloud or infrastructure security, automate security processes, support identity and access controls, or help teams build security considerations into the way technology is designed and operated.
You'll work alongside experienced security professionals and collaborate with partners across Engineering, Infrastructure, Technology, Product, and other business teams. Specific assignments will vary, giving you opportunities to apply your current knowledge while gaining exposure to different cybersecurity disciplines, tools, and practices.
Please note: These internship opportunities are expected to be based onsite at our Winston-Salem, NC location and will require in-person attendance during the summer. This posting is intended to build our candidate pipeline for anticipated Summer 2027 Information Security internship opportunities. Specific internship assignments, responsibilities, team placement, and technology stack will be based on business needs and determined as opportunities are finalized.
