Job summary

Stryker Group in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Finance/Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience across financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You’ll create and analyze statements, support process improvements, and help prepare budgets.

You will collaborate with teams nationwide on a case study project, build Excel templates, and learn ERP systems in a fast-paced, mentorship-driven environment that values initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and must remain enrolled in a degree‑seeking program after the internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above (verified at time of hire).
• U.S. work authorization now and in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication with collaboration ability.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze accounting statements and reports to assist in preparing financial statements.
• Support teams in developing and improving finance and accounting processes.
• Build ad-hoc templates and leverage ERP systems and Excel to automate and optimize reporting.
• Coordinate with departments on projections and budgets, and communicate variances against financial targets.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in monthly close processes and reporting.
• Assist with development and maintenance of annual budgets.
• Collaborate with other Finance interns across the country on a case study project.
