Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a 2027 Finance Intern to learn how financial decisions shape growth in a hospitality environment. Support the Accounting and Finance Team and shadow leaders to gain hands-on experience.

This 10-week program runs onsite in Atlanta, designed for students pursuing Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. June–August focus, real-world learning, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance, or in progress
• Junior status or higher as a student
• Strong knowledge of accounting/finance principles
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required

Responsibilities

• Work with the Accounting and Finance Team
• Assist with daily accounting functions (AP/AR) and reconciliations
• Support monthly financial statements and related reporting
• Gain exposure to forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
• Participate in audits, compliance reviews and internal controls
• Shadow property finance leaders and attend development sessions
• Assist with month-end close and journal entries
• Handle various projects and multitask to meet deadlines
