Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Summer 2027 Finance Intern for in-person work at our Austin, TX office. You will gain real-world exposure to finance and accounting in a hyper-growth startup, supporting multiple departments and assisting with business transactions and projects.

You will work alongside senior staff, develop technical skills, and build professional relationships while contributing to month-end closing, financial reporting, variance analyses, and internal control improvements.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Analyze expenses and accruals and prepare variance analyses.
• Maintain accounting records and support cross-department financial projects.
• Assist with internal controls and audit/compliance tasks.
• Support Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business Development teams.
