Billerud NA is seeking a Finance Intern/Co-Op to support Accounting and Finance teams at its Quinnesec and Escanaba facilities in Michigan. You will gain hands-on experience handling cost audits, cost reporting, and applying financial policies while collaborating with internal customers.

The role emphasizes analytical work, standard work documentation, and identifying automation opportunities. Eligible students pursuing Finance or Accounting majors with a 2.75 GPA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have completed sophomore year of college working toward a major in Finance or Accounting
• Must have basic accounting functional knowledge
• Minimum 2.75 GPA

Responsibilities

• Conducting cost audits
• Preparing and analyzing cost reports
• Interpretation and application of financial policies and accounting standards
• Development of standard work documentation for training purposes
• Investigation analysis and resolutions of variances
• Collaborating with internal customers
• Analysis of current manual tasks and recommendation for automation where necessary
• Additional projects as assigned.
