Job summary

Lenovo’s Motorola Mobility Finance team in downtown Chicago is seeking a finance intern to analyze customer ROI for marketing campaigns and assist with weekly sell-through reporting. You will work with Excel and AI tools to turn data into actionable insights and support cross-functional projects.

The role emphasizes learning about finance’s role in sales, marketing, and Go-To-Market decisions, with a hybrid schedule in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, IS, Data Analytics, or related field, graduating by Summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.2; 3.5+ preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Reside in the U.S. and not require employment sponsorship.
• Hybrid schedule: at least three days/week in Chicago HQ.

Role Overview
In this role, you will join Motorola Mobility’s Finance team in downtown Chicago, supporting the International Sales Organization (ISO) and Go-To-Market business. You will analyze financial and retail data, evaluate marketing and promotional investments, and provide insights that support business decisions. You will also gain exposure to AI, automation, and financial processes within a global technology company.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze customer ROI for marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Prepare weekly retail sell-through reporting and analyze pricing, promotions, and market share.
• Use financial and retail data to identify trends and provide business insights.
• Use Excel, AI, and automation tools to improve reporting and recurring Finance processes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams on analysis and special projects.

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, graduating on or before Summer 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2; 3.5 or above preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reside in the U.S. and not require employment sponsorship.
• Willing to work a hybrid schedule of at least three days per week at Motorola Mobility’s downtown Chicago headquarters.
