BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Finance Intern to support the Finance Department with day-to-day operations and strategic projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting for a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or economics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale).
• Completed introductory finance and accounting coursework.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of financial modeling is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analysis on company performance, trends, and key metrics.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Help reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Maintain financial databases and track KPIs.
• Support audit preparation by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
