Arthrex in Naples, FL seeks a Finance Intern for the Internal Audit team. The role involves supporting audits, documenting controls, and assisting with risk-based advisory guidance during a May–August 2027 internship lasting 40 hours per week at the Naples facility.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Finance or Accounting degrees, with strong attention to detail and developing analytical skills. Relevant Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Word proficiency is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a college degree in Finance or Accounting; a college junior or above, recent graduates within six months.
• Strong attention to detail; beginner-level investigative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of multiple internal audit projects by assisting with planning, testing, documentation, and reporting.
• Evaluate documentation and perform preliminary assessments of internal control effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps with owners and help develop corrective action plans.
• Develop understanding of risk management and internal control importance.
• Document new controls, narratives, policies, and procedures to support evolving requirements.
• Shadow General Ledger and Consolidation teams to learn accounting operations and reporting.
