Conti Federal Services is seeking a Finance Intern to support both Corporate Accounting and Project Accounting teams in Orlando, FL. The internship includes exposure to month-end close, job-cost reporting, and billing support within a construction ERP environment.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required for security-clearing requirements.
Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Coursework in financial accounting preferred; construction or managerial accounting a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables and basic formulas).
Interest in both general-ledger accounting and project/job-cost accounting.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close: pull support, prepare workpapers, and help with prepaid, accrual, and amortization schedules.
Prepare or update assigned balance-sheet reconciliations and flag reconciling items.
Help generate, format, and check ERP reports for monthly reporting packages.
Assist with AP/AR support under established controls; intern does not approve payments.
Maintain files and simple procedure notes for assigned close tasks.
