Job summary

FORVIA, a global automotive technology leader, seeks a Finance Intern for its Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters. The role supports accounting, robust reporting, and forecasts across programs, acquisitions and product lines, performing admin tasks for the Program, Acquisition & Product Line teams.

You will develop dashboards, enter data into BP tools, perform ad hoc analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding the highest ethical standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, General Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Development programs dashboard and MPMR
• Acquisition program BP tool data entry
• Ad hoc financial analysis and modeling
• Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards
• Generate reclass journal entries to correct errors found in WBS analysis
• Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs based upon approvals received
• Administrator of the ACA spending control process
• Support team on analysis of actual spending, open commits, etc. regarding WBS spending
• Data analysis and trouble-shooting
• Support special projects as assigned
• Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
• Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics, Faurecia Group Code of Management, Faurecia Group Environmental Policy, Faurecia Group Quality Policy
• All other duties as assigned by the company
