This paid internship provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, analyses, and forecasting to support business decisions and growth. Responsibilities include data cleanup, preparing reports, budgeting support, and building forward-looking financial models, with an intern manager and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables and macros is a plus.
• Experience creating and editing presentations in PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of discretion with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing data cleanup to assist financial reporting and leadership meetings.
• Extract large data sets and synthesize for clear understanding.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
• Provide analytical support for budgeting and forecasting.
• Design and interpret forward-looking financial models for projects.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly financial cycles.
• Support adhoc reports and projects as needed.
• Assist in financial integration between legacy companies.
• Support month-end analysis and reporting.
• Standardize formatting and reporting of merchant COGS data.
• Consolidate tools for a single source of truth (Enhanced Deal Tool).
