Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Corporate team for the Summer 2027 Internship Program in Alpharetta, GA. You will support the business by preparing financial reports, analyses, and forecasts in a hands-on, real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Minimum GPA-3.0.
• Experience creating spreadsheets and pivot tables; experience with macros is a plus.
• Experience creating and editing presentations in PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High initiative and drive with a desire to learn and improve the business.
• Ability to analyze information, communicate effectively, and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing data cleanup to assist in financial reporting, accruals, and leadership meetings.
• Extract large amounts of data and synthesize for easy understanding.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining.
• Provide analytical support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Design, prepare and interpret forward-looking financial models and special projects.
• Participate in regular monthly/quarterly financial cycles.
• Support ad hoc reports and projects as assigned.
• Support financial integration between legacy companies.
• Assist in month-end analysis.

DESCRIPTION

Mativ is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Corporate team for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. In this role, you will support the business by preparing financial reports, analyses, and forecasts. We are looking for a driven intern with a foundational understanding of financial principles who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Your day-to-day work will help inform business decisions and support Mativ's future growth.

The Mativ Summer Internship Program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including meaningful work, a dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead ongoing data cleanup that will assist in financial reporting, accruals, and leadership team meetings.
