Mativ is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Corporate team for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will help prepare financial reports, analyses, and forecasts, gaining real-world experience in a global materials company based in Alpharetta, GA.

The internship runs May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027 and offers paid, structured experiences, an intern manager, community service, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and edit financial reports and analyses.

Responsabilités

• Lead data cleanup to support financial reporting, accruals, and leadership meetings.
• Extract large datasets and synthesize insights for reporting.
• Identify process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Provide analytical support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Design and interpret forward-looking financial models and special projects.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly financial cycles.
• Support ad hoc reports and projects as needed.
• Assist in financial integration between legacy companies.
• Support month-end analysis.

Description

Mativ is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Corporate team for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. In this role, you will support the business by preparing financial reports, analyses, and forecasts. We are looking for a driven intern with a foundational understanding of financial principles who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Your day-to-day work will help inform business decisions and support Mativ’s future growth.

The Mativ Summer Internship Program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including meaningful work, a dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing data cleanup that will assist in financial reporting, accruals, and leadership team meetings.
• Extract large amounts of data and synthesize for easy understanding.
• Consistently look at process and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining.
• Provide analytical support and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Design, prepare and interpret forward-looking business/financial models and other special projects as needed.
• Participate in regular monthly/quarterly financial cycle.
• Support ad hoc reports and projects as assigned.
• Support financial integration between legacy companies.
• Assist in month-end analysis.

Qualifications

Required:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Minimum GPA-3.0.
• Experience creating spreadsheets and pivot tables; experience with macros is a plus.
• Experience creating and editing presentations in PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, perform in a fast-paced environment & respond quickly to situational needs as they arise.
• Ideal candidates will possess high initiative and drive, with a curiosity to perpetually learn and improve our business.
• Key requirements include the ability to analyze information to find opportunities, effectively communicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
