Job summary

Henkel in Stamford, CT is seeking a Finance Intern for its consumer goods unit (HCB). You will gain understanding of the consumer-packaged goods business from the finance function perspective and participate in onboarding, trainings, and mentorship.

You'll provide business controlling and finance support, develop skills in financial management and reporting with full P&L exposure, and complete a project supporting short-, mid-, and long-term planning. Housing stipend may be available.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student graduating in 2027 in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or Business Administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting; exposure to Power BI/SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of a consumer-packaged goods business from the perspective of the Henkel HCB Finance function.
  • Participate in finance onboarding, trainings, and mentorship programs; support business networking with finance leadership.
  • Provide business controlling and finance support to the business.
  • Expand skills in financial management and reporting with full exposure to the P&L.
  • Complete an independent and group project supporting short-, mid-, and long-term financial and strategic planning.

What you’ll do

Asa Finance Intern for Henkel’s consumer goods business unit (HCB), you will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of a consumer-packaged goods business from the perspective of the Henkel HCB Finance function
  • Get experience and perspective via finance onboarding & trainings, projects that contribute to the success of the business, networking with finance leadership, and mentorship program
  • Providing business controlling and finance support to the business
  • Expanding your skills in overall financial management and reporting with full exposure to the P&L
  • Completing an independent and group project that will support short-, mid-, and long-term financial and strategic planning

  • An undergraduate student graduating in 2027 pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Administration

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting

  • This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
  • This internship has a duration of May 24th – August 13th
  • Recruitment for our 2027 internships starts in September 2026 and runs through early March 2027 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
