Job summary

Fervo Energy offers a Finance Internship at Cape Station in Milford, Utah, where you will work on a real project scoped with your manager from day one. Throughout the internship, you will collaborate with the Finance team and other departments, culminating in a formal presentation to executive leadership and fellow interns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree or MBA; this role is not open to undergraduate or PhD candidates.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, three-statement models, sensitivity analysis) and PowerPoint; prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, management consulting, or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support corporate development activities, including market research, competitive analysis, and evaluation of new business opportunities
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with capital markets activities, including investor materials
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis for corporate initiatives
