Job summary

Aptiv’s Finance Internship Program is designed to develop Aptiv’s next generation of leaders. The program offers roles across the scope of Aptiv’s operations and provides meaningful interaction with senior leadership both inside and outside of finance.

Join a structured program that places you on high-impact projects spanning FP&A, Tax, Accounting, and Investor Relations. You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to critical business decisions.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting majors preferred; GPA 3.2+ (on 4.0 scale)
• Practical internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal skills
• Leadership experience in campus or other orgs is ideal

Responsibilities

• Support high-impact finance projects aligned with business objectives across FP&A, Tax/Govt Affairs, Accounting, Commercial Finance, Internal Audit, and IR
• Collaborate with senior finance leaders on key initiatives
• Analyze financial data to aid decision-making and reporting
• Assist process improvements and internal controls initiatives
• Prepare materials for leadership reviews and stakeholder communications

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Finance or Accounting majors preferred with a min GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Practical experience (internship) in finance or accounting would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Leadership capability – campus or other organization leadership experience ideal
