Job summary

Electronic Theatre Controls is hiring interns for the summer of 2027 for an on-site role in our Middleton, WI office. This internship focuses on daily financial activities, journal entries in SAP, and monthly reporting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of post-secondary study in Finance or Data Analysis, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. HR will start reviewing applications at the end of September.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years post high school education in area of specialization (Finance or Data Analysis preferred).
• GPA: 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support daily financial activities for ETC US.
• Review and compile weekly purchase price variances.
• Input freight bills weekly.
• Input and scan journal entries into SAP.
• Support monthly financial reporting activities for ETC US.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial information.
• Prepares monthly journal entries.
• Prepares monthly work papers.
• Reconciles bank accounts.
• Reconciles selected general ledger accounts.
• Prepare manufacturing variance analysis report from weekly purchase price variance information.
• Duties related to month-end closing process as assigned.
• Assists with trial balances, analyzes financial documents, investigates questionable data, and prepares reports.
