Magna Powertrain in Indiana is seeking a Finance Intern to support the finance team with daily administrative, accounting, and reporting activities in a manufacturing environment.

This Student/Co‑Op role offers hands-on exposure to data entry, financial reporting, and handling confidential information while developing professional skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or recent graduate.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

Scope of Position

The Finance Intern supports the Finance team with daily administrative, accounting, and reporting activities. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and financial records.
• Help prepare reports and spreadsheets.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support month‑end reporting and reconciliation.
• Assist with filing and organization of financial documents.
• Perform other Finance‑related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or recent graduate.
