Job summary

Kluber Architects + Engineers in Aurora, IL is seeking a Finance & HR Manager to lead the finance and human resources functions, guiding budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll, and benefit administration while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives.

You will supervise month‑end closes, financial reporting, vendor management, and HR policy development, ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and efficient operations across the merged organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years in finance, accounting or HR operations, with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and HR operations, including budgeting, bookkeeping, AP/AR and financial reporting.
• Lead month‑end close, reconciliations and monthly financial statements.
• Manage payroll, benefits, recruitment and HR policy implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership and integration teams to align finance and HR practices.
• Ensure compliance, confidentiality and operational efficiency across the organization.
