Job summary

NYSTRS is offering a summer internship in the Finance and HCM Solutions department to explore ERP platforms, develop and maintain applications for Finance and Human Capital Management processes, and support related tooling. You will work with end-users to define project requirements and perform analysis, design, testing and implementation as part of a project team.

You will learn Workday and other ERP solution tools, participate on ERP projects, assist with requirements analysis, and help

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer science, business or computer information systems with at least one semester remaining.
• Experience with SQL and basic accounting coursework is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Learn Workday toolsets and ERP project tools to build programming knowledge.
• Participate as a team member on ERP projects and Workday initiatives.
• Assist in analyzing user requirements and documenting specifications.
• Provide technical support including configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate to define processes and adhere to development standards.
