Job summary

RWE AG in Chicago is launching a two-year graduate program in finance. You’ll rotate through four six-month placements across Controlling, Accounting, Planning & Reporting, and more, gaining broad exposure and real responsibilities from day one.

With training, mentorship, and access to advanced tools like Power BI and Python, you’ll build a strong foundation for a career in finance, supported by a collaborative, inclusive culture and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• A strong degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a comparable subject area with a focus on Controlling, Finance, Risk Management or Accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Resilience
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, automation technologies or AI-enabled productivity tools would be advantageous
• Motivation to take on new challenges whether operating independently or within a team

Responsibilities

• Rotate through four six-month placements across the entire RWE Group.
• Take on responsibilities with real impact across finance domains.
• Gain experience in Controlling, Accounting, Planning & Reporting, Investment & Valuation, Investor Relations.
• Work with digital technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance productivity and decision-making.

About the role

Over the course of two years, you’ll progress through four six-month placements of your own choosing, rotating across the entire RWE Group. Throughout the program, you’ll have the opportunity to take on responsibilities with real impact, and you’ll be able to gain experience in a wide range of areas including:

Digital technologies, including AI-enabled tools, are becoming an integral part of how we work at RWE. Job requirements and experiences

Are you passionate about the energy industry and looking to make an impact with a dynamic, fast-growing business? Some relevant experience is useful, but not essential. What you must have is:
