MPI represents a globally recognized retail brand expanding in the US and seeking an Accounting and General Affairs Manager to lead finance operations from Manhattan. The role requires building scalable processes, implementing accounting policies, and supporting corporate infrastructure in a fast-growing environment.

You will manage monthly closes, GL, and financial reporting, while coordinating with leadership in the US and Japan.

Formación

• 5–10 years in accounting/finance roles.
• Experience working in the US for a Japanese business preferred.
• ERP systems proficiency and process improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation of balance sheet.
• Prepare financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.
• Prepare consolidated accounting packages for global leadership.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting for senior management.
• Manage US tax filings and assist with tax audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors and improve internal controls.
• Support payroll processing and in-house transition of outsourced functions.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning.
• Partner with US and Japan leadership to scale finance function.
