Job summary

LANGE Shared Services is offering a Summer Internship Program in Wichita, KS for 2027. As a Finance Intern, you will support FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in financial modeling and cross‑functional collaboration across the business.

You will work on updating projection models, analyzing data, and contributing to process improvements while developing in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to structure/analyze data.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and interest in corporate finance.
• Able to collaborate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with updates of financial projection models, including revising assumptions and forecasts.
• Compiles, analyzes, and summarizes financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
• Supports variance analysis by comparing actual results to plan and identifying key drivers.
• Helps improve reporting processes, including streamlining recurring reports and exploring simple automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement within FP&A activities.
• Conducts ad hoc analyses and contribute to special projects as assigned.
