Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern for a 10-week Summer 2027 internship in New York City. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office work during the June–August period, with a focus on financial planning and consolidation.

You will develop models, dashboards, and budgets while partnering with senior planners and stakeholders. You will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision support, using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program.
• Majors in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, Economics or related field.
• Data Analytics or Statistics is a plus.
• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint; Tableau/SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and reporting dashboards to provide analysis and insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiency.
• Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Provide technology or reporting solutions (SAP, Tableau, etc.).
• Assist in driving end-to-end project work to support strategic decisions.
