Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern for the Amer summer program in NYC. You will support budgeting and consolidation efforts, build models and dashboards, and help senior managers assess the financial impact of business decisions.

Work is in-office during the internship period with a hybrid setup. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields, with Excel/PowerPoint proficiency and exposure to Tableau or SQL preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program and graduating Dec 2027 – July 2029 (US).
• Pursuing majors in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Data analytics minor is a plus; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and dashboards to analyze budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in planning, consolidation, and KPI analysis for decision making.
• Present insights to stakeholders and support project work end-to-end.
• Provide reporting solutions using SAP, Tableau or similar tools.
