Job summary

Mastercard’s FP&A Internship Program in the United States offers hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and timely reporting to support business decisions.

You will prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, consolidate data across units, and build basic tools under supervision, gaining exposure to corporate finance and data-driven analysis. We welcome students graduating 2027–2028 pursuing finance-related fields.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program graduating Dec 2027– June 2028
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Operations, Data Analytics or related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear insights
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PPT), experience with financial modeling, reporting or data visualization tools is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on details
• Clear written and verbal communicate skills, with the ability to summarize information for different audiences
• Ability to collaborate across teams and build productive working relationships in a fast‑paced environment
• Curious, proactive and comfortable asking questions, learning new tools and solving problems independently
• Innovation mindset with thoughtful risk‑taking and openness to using tools such as Copilot or other AI‑enabled productivity solutions

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Consolidate financial and operational data for reporting across business units.
• Assist monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Support budgeting cycles and monitor revenue and expenses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive performance and efficiency.
• Develop basic tools and reports under supervision of FP&A leadership
