Job summary

Mercor is seeking a contract Non-Investment Finance Expert (CL Funnel) to build and review finance deliverables, including PnL, mark-to-market reconciliations, and 3-statement models. The role requires evaluating AI-generated outputs to professional standards in complex finance scenarios.

You will reason from primary sources such as term sheets and trial balances to identify material information, and write CFO-ready narratives with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on non-investment finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.

Responsibilities

Position: Non-Investment Finance Expert (CL Funnel)

Type: Contract
Compensation: $70/hour
Location: Remote

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years in a hands-on non-investment finance role.
• Strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Comfort with professional judgment on incomplete or ambiguous information.

Preferred

• CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with ASC 805 & 606.
