Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Investment Banking Expert for contract work. The role focuses on reviewing AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring, and creating realistic scenarios across deal screening, due diligence, and syndication.

Responsibilities include annotating and validating data for financial statement analysis and capital structure optimization, with feedback on AI accuracy in SEC regulations and deal documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional investment banking experience at bulge bracket, elite boutique, middle market, or regional banks.
• Background in M&A advisory, equity or debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate deal workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
• Clear written communication and attention to detail.
• Series 7, 63, 79 or CFA designation.
• Experience in industry coverage groups like TMT, healthcare, industrials, or FIG.
