Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in management, budgeting, accounting, or financial operations.
• Experience with large, complex operating budgets.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or administrative experience.
• Desirable: CPA or GFOA certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and oversee the District’s fiscal affairs.
• Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Develop training, mentorship, and progressive responsibility toward potential appointment as Chief Financial Officer.
