Job summary

United Wheels Inc. is seeking a Functional Lead – Finance (JDE EnterpriseOne) to partner with Finance and IT in delivering, optimizing, and supporting our JD Edwards financial systems.

You will act as the primary functional expert for E1, translating business needs into practical ERP solutions that improve accuracy and operational efficiency. The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, IT, and business teams, leading enhancements and testing efforts while ensuring controls and data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial applications in a functional role.
• Strong knowledge of G/L, A/P, and A/R with ERP integration.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate into functional specifications.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional SME for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA).
• Configure, maintain, and improve E1 financial functionality.
• Translate business needs into functional system solutions.
• Lead testing, UAT, and implementation activities.
• Ensure financial data integrity and proper controls across modules.
